Photography Workshops

My workshops are a great way to learn some new skills and techniques while meeting like-minded individuals in a casual outdoor setting. With the exception of street photography, all my workshops are based in a central Kent location with convenient nearby parking. All workshops include a set of notes covering the subject matter in more detail, and enabling you to apply the lessons learnt on your own afterwards. To book your workshop place, 50% of the price acts as a deposit.

Workshops require a minimum of 3 people to run, and are limited to a maximum of 12 to ensure a good teaching environment on the day. Refreshments are not currently included, so please ensure you bring snacks and drinks, or money to purchase something for the street photography workshop. Introductory Portrait Photography - £50 per person

This workshop is the ideal way to get started with natural light photography with an emphasis on portraiture. Set in a picturesque location in Kent, my introductory portrait photography workshop will help you dial in the ideal camera settings for a range of lighting scenarios, gain an appreciation for lighting and composition, and take some beautiful photos of a professional local model. This workshop lasts approx. 4 hours.

Intermediate Portrait Photography - £50 per person

Perfect for those wanting a step up from the introductory workshop, or who already have an interest in portrait photography. My intermediate workshop brings in the concept of off-camera flash, to enable you to take some truly striking photographs of a professional local model. Set in a picturesque location in Kent, this workshop includes full use of a range of flash and lighting equipment, lasts approx. 5 hours.

Street Photography in London - £50 per person

Street photography is a great way to really test your abilities, quick thinking, and try something new. We'll be heading to Central London to take advantage of all this vibrant city has to offer. With a range of fun challenges to take part in, and advice and feedback along the way, it's a great way to get you thinking outside the box and harness unique lighting and compositions. This workshop lasts approx. 5-6 hours.

Introductory Landscape Photography - £50 per person

While landscape photography may be less full on than my other workshop offerings, it presents some different challenges that can really test your eye. Focussing on light, shadow, shape, and colour, my landscape photography workshop will help you understand and embrace some traditional and unique compositions to bring your images to life. Set in a picturesque location in Kent, this workshop lasts approx. 4 hours.
