Crondon Park Golf Club Autumn Wedding Blessing with Clifford & Amber

Now that Covid restrictions for weddings had more or less ended, Clifford & Amber were now able to have the larger celebration they were not able to earlier in the year. While their legal ceremony happened back in May at Crondon Park in Essex, they always planned to include friends and family at a second event who were not able to attend earlier in the year.

It was great being back at Crondon Park Golf Club, and to see Clifford & Amber again (and baby Marcus!) As they now had more flexibility for their day, this time they opted for my popular Kilimanjaro collection, with up to 10 hours of coverage to work with. I also had Cheryl assist me for the day, who helped me during Steven & Nina's wedding back in the summer. It was certainly a warmer day this time around, with the sun out for most of it, too.

As Clifford & Amber were already married, today was going to be more of a blessing ceremony, and they had enlisted a good friend of their to do the honours and 'officiate'. After a more comprehensive bridal prep compared to last time, Amber joined her guests out on the patio before the short ceremony inside.

Back outdoors in the sunshine, there was ample time for candids and some group photos beside the main barn. A buffet-style BBQ for the wedding meal followed, with some brief speeches and the cake cut. As we had already included lots of 'daytime' couples photos at their earlier wedding, this time we opted for more 'golden hour' and sunset photos, even venturing into some parts of the venue we didn't have time for back in the spring! These made for some beautifully dramatic photos as the sun went down and cast a vibrant orange and yellow glow onto the clouds.

Finally, Clifford & Amber took to the dancefloor for their first dance, again something they had to forego back in the spring. Amber also had a slow dance with her dad afterwards, something that's always really sweet to see but is seldom done these days.
