Despite only living down the road from me, this was the first time I had met Chantel & Karl and their adorable greyhound Bilbo. I had been due to photograph their wedding this summer, but sadly their venue recently went into administration so they decided to put the whole thing on hold for the time being.
With their 10 years together anniversary looming, Chantel still wanted a way to commemorate their time together, so she got in touch with me to arrange a last minute couples portrait session. With Bilbo in tow, of course!
I suggested heading down to the Lower Leas Coastal Park, where Liana & Tyler had their engagement session earlier in the spring, and unlike then it was much quieter this time around. It's also a great place for Bilbo to stretch his legs and join in with some photos of the two of them.
It was lovely finally getting to chat and hang out with Chantel & Karl and help celebrate their time together. It's clear that wedding disruption hasn't taken too much of a toll on these two, and their love for eachother is still going strong. Bilbo even coorperated from time to time as well, when he wasn't being sneaky and photobombing the happy couple!
