The last time I was at Shorne Woods Country Park was for Jenny and Ben's engagement session, so it was great to be back again on a rather cold but sunny day to meet Amber, Clifford and their adorable newborn son Marcus. At just 3 weeks old, Amber really wanted to include him in the photos so they could get a mix of family and couples photos during the afternoon. However, he spent most of the time napping, so he only had a brief time in the spotlight!
This was my first time meeting the two of them ahead of their mini wedding at Crondon Park in Essex in late May, so it was a great opportunity to get to know the two of them and hear about their plans. They also hope to have a bigger celebration and reception later in the year, which is a great way to do things given the ongoing situation.
As it was a weekday, Shorne Woods was surprisingly quiet, and we more or less had the park to ourselves! We found some great spots amongst the trees and next to the fishing lakes, with the sun even occasionally poking out amongst the branches. Marcus was very cute too, once he had something to eat and a quick nappy change. It's fair to say both Amber and Clifford and pretty smitten with him!
These two were such a fun couple to be around, and it's going to be great spending time with them at not one, but two weddings this year! If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, remember you can get a discount on one by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
