Nonsuch Park Spring Engagement Session with Rebecca & Tom

With the summer wedding season fast approaching, and restrictions continuing to be lifted, I finally had a chance to meet Rebecca and Tom up in Southwest London near their home in the beautiful Nonsuch Park. I'd never been up this way before and was surprised as just how big it was. Even though there were alot of people about on this sunny day, it was easy to find some quiet spots for photos of the two of them.

After a quick chat to catch up with their wedding preparations and a bit of a posing masterclass, we went exploring the long shady avenues and big open fields, winding our way through the park towards the big country house at the far end, with more landscaped gardens and flowers.

Engagement sessions can be a bit of a daunting prospect for some, as the thought of posing for someone you barely know is a bit of an odd concept, but it wasn't long before Rebecca and Tom got used to me being around and started to get more comfortable with the process. This is why I recommend them so much for couples who are a bit camera-shy, as we can get past this early awkward stage before the wedding day, rather than on it, resulting in much better photos of the two of you when it matters.

On the walk back to the carpark we found a nice spot in the sun by an old wooden gate for their final photos of the afternoon. By this point there was just an abundance of giggles and smiles, which is what I love to see from my couples on their engagement sessions!

This was such a fun afternoon, and these two really were naturals by the end. I can't wait for their wedding in late June - I just hope that by then any final social restrictions have been lifted! If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, remember you can get a discount on one by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
