Rowhill Grange and Utopia Spa Kent Autumn Wedding with Kevin & Karen

Nestled between Swanley and Dartford, and just a stone's throw from London, Rowhill Grange is one of the premier wedding destinations in Kent. Combining both a countryside hotel, wedding space and an award-winning spa, is really is the place to do everything. I can see why Kevin and Karen chose Rowhill Grange for their big day!

Because Kevin and Karen would be getting ready in different locations, they opted to include a second photographer with their wedding coverage, so Sophie Cheverst would assist me throughout the day. Having a second photographer ensures both bride and groom prep is covered, along with a second angle at key parts of the day such as the ceremony, speeches, and first dance.

The couple had use of the Clock House Suite in the morning and afternoon/evening, with the ceremony outside under the nearby gazebo. Karen was amazingly calm in the morning as she and her bridesmaids got ready, even offering to pitch in and help with the makeup for her friends after she did her own.

With the weather being kind for now and the guests arrived and seated, the ceremony got underway after some last minute words of advice from Karen's father before he walked her down the aisle to a waiting Kevin. There was lots of smiles and a few tears as they tied the knot, before everyone celebrated nearby with a few reception drinks outside.

Sadly the rain did come eventually, right in the middle of group photos, but it wasn't long before we could venture back out and continue, followed by some photos of just the two of them amongst the expansive grounds of the venue. Then it was back inside for the meal, speeches and the cake cut!

Kevin and Karen had a little surprise up their sleeves when it came to the first dance, and they busted out some amazing choreographed moves for everyone. Their tables had been given dance names, so it perhaps wasn't surprising that there was a bit of a theme going on here. They really put on a show for their guests (and us!), and it wasn't long before everyone joined them on the dancefloor to boogie the night away. Just awesome.

What a great end to another great wedding, and I wish these two all the happiness in the world. If you'd like to start planning your own happily ever after, then check out my wedding collections here, or head over to the contact page to check if I'm free on your date.
