After the success of our boho fashion session near Dover last summer, I got in touch with Allie again to see if she was keen to do another portrait session a bit closer to home in Folkestone (where I live too!)
I know I wanted to do some more of my own projects over the winter period, as wedding work tends to be pretty quiet this time of year. and I had some great ideas for locations around the seafront. So at the tail end of a sunny December day we headed down to the harbour to begin.
The afternoon light soon turned into a warm sunset glow, and the mix of gorgeous natural light mixed with a bit of flash really made the shots pop and sparkle! All of these were within such a small part of the town and they really showcase the variety of locations that Folkestone on a sunny day has to offer - marvellous!
Photos like this really show what can be done at any time of year with a bit of knowhow. If you're looking to have your own portrait session around Kent, head over to my portrait photography page for details and prices, or get in contact for a chat.
