Shortly after their engagement, Isobel's lovely mother got in touch with me with the great idea to gift her daughter and her new fiance an engagement session. After discussing some logistical issues, we decided the best place would be somewhere in London, and I began researching some good locations we could link together in one afternoon
It took some time to organise the session, as I had up to 3 hours with these two to get some gorgeous photos around the city. We finally decided on a mix of modern and traditional aspects of London as we initially wound our way around Canary Wharf and the financial district. We then jumped on the DLR down to Greenwich and the majestic Old Naval College for a while, before heading to Greenwich Park to finish just as the sun set on a gorgeously warm spring day.
These two were great fun getting to know, and by the end were such naturals in front of the camera! I loved the opportunity to really spend some time with a couple and get a bit creative, and explore parts of London I rarely get the chance to visit.
If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, be it somewhere urban in the city, or somehere more rural in the countryside, remember you can get a discount on one by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
