Back when I first started out with portrait photography, Emily was one of the first people I worked with. After a few sessions together back in the day - including some winter fashion and a spring bluebell session - it was lovely to work together again on an idea I'd had for a while after frequently walking past some seldom-used public tennis courts near my home in Folkestone.
Hoping for some sunshine late in the afternoon on a day in July, we sadly had to make do with mostly overcast conditions for the shoot on one of the concrete courts. With a borrowed racket, some balls, and a few other props, we had a great few hours working through lots of ideas and poses, all while Emily's mum was on hand to help out and film some BTS videos for Emily's own social media.
It was lovely working with Emily again, and seeing how far she's come along in her own modelling career since we last worked together. I'm sure it'll be a more regular occurrence going forward - as we already have a few ideas for some future endeavours!
Portrait sessions are great whatever the time of year, and are the perfect way to show off your style. If you'd like to organise your own lifestyle or sports portrait session, head over to my portrait photography page for more details, or get in touch here to enquire.
