After visiting the beautiful Leonardslee Gardens for Steph & James' engagement session in the autumn, I had the chance to return again, this time for Rachel & Steve's summer engagement session. This location is fast becoming one of my favourite spots in the Surrey/Sussex area, and you could easily spend a good part of the day exploring the lakes and woodland paths.
Compared to back in the autumn, in the summer the gardens took on a whole new look, but the glorious sunshine really made the vibrant greens pop, and shine on the surface of the many lakes. I decided to take Rachel & Steve straight down to the main 'valley' to begin with, where we went through the usual posing crash course to kick things off.
It wasn't long before Rachel & Steve got into the swing of things as we explored the gardens, and we managed to get some really lovely photos while enjoying the sunshine. By the end of the session, it's fair to say any camera shyness had been forgotten about, and they were both full of confidence ahead of their wedding day later in the year.
If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, remember you can get a discount on one by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
