Rounding off a very busy June, Stewart & Josephine had their wedding a little closer to home in North Kent, not far from where they live in Rainham. Bridal prep in the morning was super chilled, with the couple's two children very well behaved, or even sleeping on occasion. Stewart, getting ready at his best man's family home, even had use of a custom bar area with working pumps and a pool table! Something you don't see very often...
As the guests arrived at St Thomas of Canterbury RC Church, the bridal party stole the show with 2 beautiful vintage cars, and it wasn't long before the ceremony got underway. Afterwards, Stewart & Josephine walked out to a great confetti line-up before we headed behind the church to a small garden area for some group photos.
While all their guests headed to Lordswood Leisure Centre for the reception, I suggested the couple and I go to the nearby Capstone Farm Country Park to get some lovely photos of the two of them, as there wouldn't really be a good opportunity otherwise. The scenery was beautiful, with a huge lake and a cute wooden bridge, topped off with a dramatic veil swish in front of their wedding car.
At Lordswood, their reception had a definite theme, with the colours of West Ham adorning the tables and even their wedding cake! There was a real party atmosphere in the room, with lots of kids in attendance too, who were really enjoying the activity packs and animal face masks.
After the speeches and the cake cut, the couple took to the dancefloor, and were even joined by their two children for a really lovely moment with the four of them. Such a great way to end the night.
