The Ravenswood, West Sussex Spring Wedding with Nick & Ishka

Similarly to 2021, 2022 was going to be another busy year for me, and it all kicked off in style with the early spring wedding of Nick & Ishka at The Ravenswood in West Sussex. I don't often find myself travelling out this way, and it is certainly one of those hidden gems smack bang in the middle of the countryside. The perfect spot for a big wedding!

While the initial plan was to have the ceremony outside, the cold sadly meant it had to be moved inside, but that wasn't going to stop these two and their guests from having an awesome day. In fact, after the ceremony finished the sun made a welcome appearance, just in time for the confetti and group photos in the sweep grounds.

As timing was a bit tight, we opted to leave the photos of the two of them until after the wedding breakfast, as it coincided perfectly with sunset. The speeches were, as usual, a great laugh, with Ishka even being gifted a football shirt bearing her new nickname! Now that's something you don't see at a wedding very often!

With the sun going down and that lovely soft golden light in the air, I tempted Nick & Ishka back outside for some beautiful photos of the two of them, and they just made it look so effortless. Back indoors the room was turned around and looking stunning, with big LED letters and their cake set up on the dancefloor, ready to be cut and the dancing to begin.

Finally, to wrap up a great first wedding of 2022, everyone headed outside and braved the cold for some sparkler fun. The perfect way to end the day and my coverage.
