I always enjoy going back to Shorne Woods Country Park in North Kent, as it's a pretty central location for the many couples and families that I've photographed in the past. This time, it was the turn of Rebekah & Jack to have their spring engagement session here ahead of their wedding in August.
Similarly to Ceri & Rob back in March, we had managed to pick a beautifully sunny day, with Rebekah & Jack opting for great casual attire showcasing their personalities perfectly. After our initial chats and the usual posing crash course I like to do at the start of all my engagement sessions, we headed off into the country park and some of my favourite spots.
It didn't take long for the two of them to really get into the spirit of the session, and even Jack who said he is normally quite stoic in nature, started to smile and giggle (with a little encouragement from Rebekah) which was great to see. This is why I always encourage engagement sessions as it's a really useful way to get used to being in front of the camera, something that not many people realise takes a little time.
There were plenty of shady wooded paths, ponds, lakes, and open field, which made for a lovely variety of photos for them when receiving their online gallery. Don't forget, when booking an engagement session, you will receive ALL the best images, with no restrictions on downloads.
If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, remember you can get a discount on one or even a complimentary session by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
