Shorne Woods Autumn Family Mini Session with Hailey & Joe

Hailey & Joe were two of my earliest wedding clients, back when I was first starting my business, so it was lovely to get an email from Hailey wanting to arrange a family portrait session with their newest arrival - a beautiful daughter. To keep things simple, they opted for one of my Mini Sessions, and I suggested we head to Shorne Woods Country Park, one of my favourite spots in North Kent.

Despite not having seem them for several years, I recognised them instantly, and it was great to chat and catch up with them both before we began. Having discussed things in advance, we already had a game plan for the afternoon. Hailey & Joe wanted a mixture of photos of all three of them, as well as some separate ones with each of them with their daughter. Working with young children can sometimes be challenging, as you are heavily dependant on their mood, but their little girl behaved admirably throughout!

This session was lots of fun, and we managed to squeeze a lot in to such a short length of time. Hailey & Joe's daughter was such a little cutie, and was cracking smiles and giggling lots! This really made the session flow, and I've no doubt Hailey & Joe now have many great photos of a really special time in their daughter's life. Hopefully I'll get the chance to work with them all again soon.
