Mote Park Autumn Engagement and Family Session with Kelsey & Sam

After spending a week away in Shropshire back in late October, I caught up with Kelsey and Sam in Maidstone's Mote Park on a gorgeously sunny day for their engagement session. These two are due to get married next August at the Mercure Great Danes near Maidstone, but wanted to take advantage of the beautiful autumn colours this year for their 'practice run' during their engagement session. Mote Park is a favourite of mine as it offers some great variety for couples and family photos alike, and Kelsey & Sam asked if they could bring their little girl with them too, for a great mix of photos of the two of them, as well as with their daughter. Naturally I said yes, and their little one almost stole the show as we made our way around the park with the sun slowly setting.

I met up with the three of them early in the afternoon, knowing we had a good few hours of daylight to work with, and right away we found some great spots for them to get used to being in front of the camera, which is what engagemnet sessions are all about. After running through the basics, they all really eased into the process, and were real naturals!

Kelsey and Sam wanted the session to be a good mix of family photos with Alice, as well as some lovely ones of the two of them, and I think we really accomplished that throughout the afternoon. It was especially busy as it was the last day of half term, but we found some great quiet spots where the two of them could be themselves and get up nice and close for some really romantic photos.

I had a great time with the three of them, and I can tell Alice is going to be an amazing flower girl at mummy and daddy's wedding next year. If you're considering an engagment session before your wedding and would like more information, get in touch with me to discuss your discount (if applicable) and to check my availability.
