There's something a little bit special about getting married on the 29th February, and ahead of their leap year wedding, it was time for Bernard & JP's engagement session. As they live round the corner from Morden Hall
Park in South London, we decided this would be a great spot to spend the afternoon.
With the autumn colours slowly starting to appear, and the warm sun shining, I met the two of them and their two cute little dogs just inside the park. The nice weather and the fact it was a weekend did mean the park was pretty busy, but we did our best to avoid too many people unintentionally lurking in the background of our photos!
As for all of my engagement sessions, we started with a quick posing crash course to help break the ice and ease the two of them into the process. JP especially was a little camera-shy at first, but after some coaching and encouragement, he soon came out of his shell.
For the second half of the session, Bernard had his cousin take the dogs back home again and we continued with just the three of us as we explored the park through the woodland and along cute little streams. This was a great introduction for them into my working style, and I've no doubt any stage fright will be long gone by the time their wedding rolls around.
If you'd like to arrange your own engagement session, remember you can get a discount, or even a complementary engagement session, by booking one of my three 'full day' wedding collections.
