Stuart & Kelly opted for shorter wedding coverage for their day, and wanted me to begin at the venue ahead of their wedding ceremony, rather than cover preparations in the morning. So I headed up to the Judds Folly Hotel on the outskirts of Faversham in North Kent on another very warm summer's day back in July.
I caught up with Stuart and some of the guests who had already arrived and were grabbing a quick pint before Kelly and the bridal party got there. They were definitely embracing the sunshine with the plethora of sunflowers everywhere, with Kelly's bouquet when she arrived a gorgeous array of the bright flowers. The ceremony area was set over a pond in the middle of the complex, leaving to a small outdoor gazebo.
After the ceremony there was plenty of time for confetti and the obligatory group photos, before a few quick ones of Stuart and Kelly by their vintage wedding cars outside the hotel. After the speeches as the sun began to get lower, I took them back out again to the old stone arch behind the hotel for some more couples photos, as well as some beautiful sunset ones just around the corner.
This is my first time at Judds Folly and I was really impressed by the staff and the venue as a whole - a real hidden gem! Stuart and Kelly were stars too, of course, totally chilled and I had a great time getting some gorgeous photos of the two of them, as well as all the super fun shots getting involved with their friends and family during the day.
Stuart and Kelly's day was the last of my July 2018 weddings, and a great way to round off a busy month! What a fantastic day, and I'm sure the party continued well into the evening after I had left.
