Liana & Tyler are two of the most chilled and lovely people I know, and after photographing their wedding day at the Hythe Imperial at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was thrilled when they got back in touch to let me know they were expecting a little bundle of joy. With this new addition to their family due near the end of 2022, they wanted to capture those precious moments with their daughter before she go too big, so they booked a lifestyle newborn session with me.
Unlike a newborn session in a studio with plain backdrops and little to no props, a lifestyle session tends to take place in your home, where you'll already have everything to hand to ensure the comfort of your little one. This worked really well with Liana & Tyler, and we made good use of their spacious and light living room (although I did make use of an extra flash just to brighten the back corners a little).
Liana & Tyler opted for my longer Classic Session, which gave us more flexibility when their daughter needed changing or feeding - which happened often - while still allowing plenty of time for photography and a range of poses and situations for the three of them. I think it's fair to say, their little girl really stole the show and just looked super cute throughout! I've no doubt these two will make amazing parents.
Portrait sessions are great for all occasions and seasons, with both a short Mini Session and a longer Classic Session to choose from. If you'd like to book and arrange your own, check out my portrait session info and prices here, or head over to the contact page to send me a message!
