Having worked with Megan and her parents/sister several times before, it's always lovely to hear from her again, especially to let me know she wanted a newborn session for her newly arrived daughter as photos weren't offered at the hospital - unlike for her other 3 children.
Wanting to have something a bit more substantial than a few quick snaps, Megan opted for one of my mini portrait sessions for Josie to best fit with her pretty hectic life at the moment. Megan set up a small makeshift 'studio' in the corner of her lounge and, complimented with some extra lighting that I brought, we made a lovely bright and airy space for the session.
Josie was good as gold during the session, and we even got through a couple of outfit changes. Towards the end, we decided to include a nice colourful blanket, which really made Josie's white onesie stand out before she started to get a bit restless as the session wrapped up.
This was a lovely way to spend the morning, and meeting Megan's little girl whilst catching up on old times with a good friend.
Portrait sessions are great for all occasions and seasons, with both a short Mini Session and a longer Classic Session to choose from. If you'd like to book and arrange your own, check out my portrait session info and prices here, or head over to the contact page to send me a message!
