Back in early August I headed across the Thames to the cute little town of Loughton in Essex for Lynsey & Terry's wedding. They had picked the church of St Johns for the ceremony, which started quite late at 3pm, before everyone headed down to the Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club for the reception. It was typically British summer weather (ie mostly cloudy) but the couple and their guests certainly didn't let that put them dow! The ceremony was lovely and upbeat, with the pastor putting on a great performance before some quick snaps outside and some confetti before we all headed off to the reception for more photos, fun and, of course, the wedding breakfast (which even featured a donut table instead of a traditional cake).
Stapleford Abbots provided a great backdrop for Lynsey & Terry's wedding reception, with a chilled atmosphere and great views over the course with lakes, gentle hills and areas of trees perfect for group and couples photos. After the wedding breakfast and some cracking speeches, we got to head over to hole number 10 in some golf buggies for some gorgeous couples photos of the two of them, and we even got a bit of sunshine peeking through the clouds as it started to set a little over the Essex countryside - just in time for some dancing!
Lynsey & Terry had brought a few surprises with them for the evening reception, in the form of some confetti cannons! They really do add a bit of a highlight to the first dance, and they were entrusted to be set off by two of the groomsmen. It was great to see so many of their friends and family enjoying themselves in the evening, and the donuts didn't last long.
I had a great time capturing their wedding, even if I wasn't with them all day, so if you would like to discuss your own wedding plans - I would love to hear from you! Head over to my wedding page for more info and pricing, or send me a message to check my availability on the contact page.
