In today's fast moving world, video content is becoming increasingly popular, and in some situations is stealing the limelight from still images. While I maintain that good wedding photography is something that all couples should consider if they have allocated for it in their budget, having some additional video of the wedding as well can really bring the key parts of the day to life. That's why I now offer a small selection of videography services that can be added to your wedding photography collection.
Together, they form a hybrid service that deliver both stunning wedding photography alongside full films of your ceremony, the speeches, or perhaps even a short highlight film of the whole day. If photography is the main thing you are looking to book, and perhaps your budget won't quite allow for a separate videographer, then this may be the ideal solution for you.

A highlight film combines a number of short video clips taken throughout the day to form a 3-5 minute visual account of your wedding. Set to music, this is sure to be an emotional watch - please note this option requires two photographers present. Also includes full ceremony and speeches films. Video files are delivered in Full HD (1080p) but can be upgraded to 4K resolution for an extra £75.

The chance to relive your entire wedding ceremony in exquisite detail with full audio. One or two static cameras are placed at the front/rear of the ceremony area to capture all the action, while professional portable microphones in key locations ensure crisp and clear sound. Video files are delivered in Full HD (1080p) but can be upgraded to 4K resolution for an extra £25.

The Speeches are probably my favourite part of the wedding day, and this is the chance to savour them again. One or two static cameras face the top table and those speaking, with professional portable microphones to ensure crisp and clear sound. Lighting is also available for darker reception spaces. Video files are delivered in Full HD (1080p) but can be upgraded to 4K resolution for an extra £25.
Whilst I can definitely add a little something extra to your wedding photography in the form of one of the above films, anyone worth their salt will tell you that it can be very difficult to juggle both photography and videography. This is especially true if you want a high standard of both, or perhaps are looking for a longer film of the day. If both photography and videography are important to you, then it may be worth considering hiring a dedicated videographer to work alongside me on your wedding day.
Having worked with a number of videographers at weddings over the years, we will ensure a smooth and collaborative process so we're not stepping on each other's toes during the day. I will also ask for their contact details so I can introduce myself beforehand and make sure we have similar timings to work from.
